Only three miles north of Poughkeepsie, in historic Hyde Park, is the renowned Culinary Institute of America. Called "the best culinary school in the world," the CIA operates four fine dining restaurants and a casual bakery café, all student-staffed. Space at these restaurants is limited, and reservations are booked up to three months in advance.
